Carter & Associates Inc. was founded by Geoffrey Carter in 1995. Geoffrey came out of a non-banking services background with Syfrets Limited.
Our aim is to provide a proactive, solutions orientated approach – one that is not problem focused, but rather solutions focused.
Carter & Associates has a strong focus on mediating litigious matters, rather than going to court, with a strong emphasis on finding common ground and cooperation between parties and clients that seek professional legal services from the firm.

Carter and Associates provides an international service – specifically to The People’s Republic of China.
The firm has strong relationships with Chinese businesses in South Africa and visits the People’s Republic of China frequently. Geoffrey understands the Chinese culture and their emphasis on trust, cooperation and understanding.
Carter & Associates has put a number of deals together relating to Chinese companies that want to invest in South Africa and who have subsequently appointed Geoffrey as a non-executive director of their South African entities.
